B.H.L.M is a small business founded on the principles of Right Livelyhood and the Protestant Work Ethic. Yeyduh is passionate about creating sober, safe spaces for poetry of all kinds - Slam, literary, translation, concrete.

Before founding B.H.L.M, Yeyduh tele-taught over 75 creative writing classes over Zoom. She also earned up to her cap as a medical dependent via poetry in fiscal 2023 and 2024, re-investing it in her personal library over time.

In addition to facilitating the Narrow Road Writing Workshop here, she is also the Program Director at the Self Educating Poet’s Network and the Chief Strategy Officer at Trident Poetry Collective.

B.H.L.M is thus a Trans operated small business, not a charity, and all free writing guides, free streamed events, and volunteer Zoom tutoring sessions coordinated through this site are subsidized by our sliding scale classes, and community-college level Poet’s Poet classes starting Q1 2026.
